
COLLINGWOOD OPP ARREST AND CHARGE INDIVIDUAL FOLLOWING ARMED ROBBERY

(Collingwood, ON) – Members of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged an individual following a robbery at a local convenience store.
On September 20, 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m., officers responded to a robbery call for service at a local Circle K in Collingwood.
Upon arrival, officers reviewed surveillance footage and were able to successfully identify the suspect. A short time later, officers located and arrested the individual.
As a result, Maxwell FOSTER, 32 year old of Collingwood, has been charged with:
- Robbery while armed with a weapon
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
- Carrying a concealed weapon
The accused was held for a bail hearing and appeared before a Justice of the Peace. He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date.
