❤️ OPP AUXILIARY MEMBERS LAUNCH “OPERATION FULL PLATE” FOOD DRIVE

(WASAGA BEACH, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Auxiliary Program is proud to support communities across Ontario through Operation Full Plate, a province-wide food drive taking place on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
Food insecurity continues to affect communities throughout the province, with more Ontarians relying on local food banks each year. Recognizing the growing need, OPP Auxiliary members from detachments across Ontario will come together for this one-day initiative to help restock local food bank shelves and support individuals and families facing food insecurity.
With more than 500 dedicated Auxiliary members serving communities across Ontario, Operation Full Plate aims to make a meaningful impact by collecting non-perishable food items and other essential donations for local food banks.
Community members are encouraged to participate by donating non-perishable food items, including:
- Canned vegetables, fruits, soups, and meats
- Pasta, rice, and cereal
- Peanut butter and other shelf-stable proteins
- Baby food and formula
- Personal hygiene products
All donations collected locally will remain in the community and be distributed Wasaga Ministerial Food bank.
The OPP Auxiliary Program thanks residents for their generosity and support in helping make Operation Full Plate a success. Together, we can help fill plates and strengthen our communities.
