Our Collingwood Girl Guides spent two years fundraising and sold over 10,000 boxes of cookies to take 13 girls aged 12-14 (over half of whom were only 12) on a week-long trip to Iceland.
Some of them had never been on a plane or left the country before! We saw the Northern Lights, went whale watching, and learned about their fascinating environment and volcanic activity and management.
It was truly a broadening experience for all of them and we had a fantastic time.
