The day begins at 10 a.m. at the Collingwood Museum / Station
Children will be invited to bring a bag and collect the eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny on the grounds. This event is for children 10 and under only, and they must bring an adult with them to join the fun. This part of the day is hosted by the Journey Community Church and there will be lots of activities to keep the little ones busy while they wait for their turn to join the hunt.
After the Hunt, the fun moves to the Information Centre at 84 Hurontario Street, across the street from Town Hall, opening at 10 a.m. and continuing to 2 p.m. Staff will be there to assist with directions and information, and provide the forms for the Easter Egg Hunt.
Families are invited to count the eggs displayed in the windows of the businesses throughout the downtown! Prizes for the Egg Hunt will be awarded to each of the different age groups, up to age 2 years, 2 to 4 years old, 5 to 8 years old and 9 to 12 years old.
The Easter Bunny will circulate throughout the downtown during the day with treats for children of all ages.
