Do THIS and You Will NEVER Be ANGRY at ANYONE Again | Alan Watts

0

What if anger was never caused by other people, but only by the way we resist life itself?

In this talk, Alan Watts explores why irritation, frustration, and rage are not enemies to fight, but illusions to see through. When you stop trying to control the world, when you allow reality to be what it is, anger loses its grip on you. Discover how awareness, surrender, humor, and compassion can free you from being disturbed by anyone, and why true peace comes not from changing others, but from awakening to your own clarity. If this resonated with you, subscribe to journey deeper into the mystery of life, thought, and being.

🤍 Inspired by Alan Watts 🤍 This channel is a tribute to the spirit of Alan Watts, not as a teacher in the conventional sense, but as a mirror gently pointing you back to what you already are. Drawing from his explorations into consciousness, illusion, and the present moment, we offer reflections designed not to instruct, but to awaken. Rather than guiding you toward rigid conclusions, we invite you to notice: you were never apart from the flow of life. The search itself is the illusion, for what you’re looking for has always been looking through your eyes. As Alan often said, “The ego is nothing more than the focus of conscious attention.” There’s no self to improve, only a mystery to remember. So if, while watching, you find yourself smiling at life’s absurdity, sensing the great cosmic joke, or remembering that you are the universe in disguise, then we’ve done our part. About Alan Watts Alan Watts (1915–1973) was a British philosopher and writer known for making Eastern philosophy accessible to the Western world. With clarity, humor, and a sense of mischief, he brought ideas from Zen, Taoism, and Vedanta into everyday life. To Alan, life was not a problem to be solved, but a symphony to be heard with playfulness and wonder. 🔗 Explore his original work: 📚 alanwatts.org 🎙️ YouTube: @alanwattsorg

MAKE SAFETY YOUR TRADITION THIS THANKSGIVING

0

OPP Takes Part in Operation Impact

(ORILLIA, ON) – As families across Ontario prepare to gather for Thanksgiving, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is urging all drivers to pause and reflect before heading out on busy roads. To date, 269 lives have been lost on OPP-patrolled roadways in 2025 – each one a loved one whose absence will be deeply felt this holiday season.

The majority of these fatal incidents were preventable, resulting from poor decisions and careless behaviours behind the wheel. Drivers, passengers, pedestrians, and other road users continue to be impacted by speeding, distracted driving, impairment, fatigue, and failure to use seatbelts or proper child restraints.

This Thanksgiving weekend, the OPP is joining police services across Canada for Operation Impact, a national traffic safety initiative led by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police through its Traffic Safety Committee. The campaign supports Canada’s Road Safety Strategy 2025 and focuses on high-risk driving behaviours that contribute to serious collisions.

Operation Impact aligns with the OPP’s Provincial Traffic Safety Strategy, which aims to reduce deaths and injuries on Ontario’s roads, waterways and trails. Officers will be out in full force, targeting unsafe driving practices and promoting responsible road use.

The OPP is calling on every road user to do their part. Let’s work together to ensure no more families are left with an empty seat at the dinner table – not just this weekend, but every day of the year.

Let’s make this Thanksgiving about more than just coming together. Let’s make it about arriving safely.

How to Win the War Inside Your Anxious Mind | Alan Watts

0

Discover the profound and paradoxical cure for anxiety from the legendary philosopher Alan Watts.

In this immersive lecture, we explore why the very act of fighting anxiety is what keeps it locked in place. What if the peace you’re searching for isn’t something you find, but something you already are?

Alan Watts reveals that our constant struggle for security and our identification with the “troubleshooter” mind are the root causes of suffering. The true path to freedom isn’t through more effort, but through a revolutionary shift in perception: surrender. In this video, you will learn: Why trying to “fix” your anxiety only makes it worse (The Vicious Cycle).

How the pursuit of permanent security creates a life of insecurity.

The Way of Water: How to surrender to the flow of life, like an expert swimmer. The profound wisdom hidden within embracing life’s inherent uncertainty. A simple way to step out of your anxious thoughts and into the “Eternal Now.” This isn’t a quick fix, but a deep reorientation towards life itself. By understanding that you are not a separate ego battling the world, but an expression of the universe, the weight of anxiety can finally begin to dissolve. Alan Watts & Wisdom
