Project Background
The Town is upgrading the Thornbury Wastewater Treatment Plant Outfall Pipe to allow the plant to meet its full capacity. This outfall will be installed from the Treatment Plant to the shoreline within the Grey Street road allowance. It will then extend off the north end of the Grey Street road allowance, and run 1.5 km into Georgian Bay. The pipe has been assembled in segments at Lora Bay Park, and will be floated in Lora Bay until final assembly can be completed.
