(MIDLAND, ON) – A William Street business was the victim of a early morning robbery and police are requesting the assistance of the public as a part of the investigation.
On November 25th, 2024, at 2:35 a.m. members of the Southern Georgian Bay detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a report of a robbery at a convenience store on William Street at Galloway Boulevard in Midland. The suspect entered the store and demanded cash, then left on foot with an amount of money. The suspect’s face was covered but a photo silhouette captured during the incident is attached.
Extensive patrols were made by detachment members who are continuing the investigation with the assistance of the Southern Georgian Bay OPP Major Crime Unit.
