A two vehicle crash at approximately 8:04 p.m. September 30, 2025, at the intersection of Concession Road 6 of Tiny Township at Simcoe County Road 6 between a east bound delivery van and a north bound SUV resulted in a trip to an area hospital for the 28 year old Barrie resident operating the delivery van for treatment of serious but non life threatening injuries. The intersection related crash is still under investigation.

A single vehicle crash on Awenda Park Road within Awenda Provincial Park has resulted in criminal driving charges for a 43 year old resident of The Blue Mountains after an OPP investigation was commenced at approximately 7:29 p.m. September 30, 2025.
