Quang Duong and James Ignatowich, without a doubt, have the fastest serves in pickleball.
If you want insane power on your serve, you have to understand 4 key concepts that each of them follow.
What’s most interesting is that though their service motions look vastly different, they have key similarities that lead to their serves creating BIG POWER.
In this video I will share the technique behind each of their serves that helps them get insane amounts of power, and I will also share with you 3 specific drills that you can do to increase your serve power.

Nothing has increased the power of my serve more than drilling. That said, if I were to drill but not have the correct technique, it would be for nothing. Learning how to hit a serve hard in pickleball and get it to go faster comes down to both technique and repetitions. What would you pin as the most important aspect of a pickleball serve in order to get it to travel faster?
1. Your take back
2. Your weight transfer
3. Your follow through
What you will come to find out in this video is that weight transfer is the single most important aspect of a pickleball serve when it comes to generating insane power. Moving your momentum from your back foot to your front foot and then landing in the court is a major aspect of creating insane power on your serve. That said, there are other key elements including lag, shoulder replacing, and coil that can lead to giving you a faster serve in pickleball.
