POLICE SEARCH FOR MISSING MALE IN SOUTHAMPTON

Concern for Well-Being

(SOUTHAMPTON, ON) – Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing male.

On January 20, 2025, Brendan MARTIN was reported missing to Saugeen Shores Police Service (SSPS). He was last seen in the early hours of January 18, 2025, in Southampton. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Criminal Investigation Branch is supporting the investigation.

Brendan is described as a 32-year-old Indigenous male, approximately 6’0″ (183 cm) tall and 195 lbs (88 kg) with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes (photos attached). He was last seen wearing a black and navy winter coat and Timberland-style boots. He is known to frequent the Owen Sound and Barrie areas.

Despite extensive searches, Brendan has not been located. Police are concerned for his well-being and are asking Southampton residents to check their properties and outbuildings.

The investigation continues with the SSPS, under the direction of the OPP CIB. Anyone with information in relation to this investigation is encouraged to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
