The Women’s Centre Grey Bruce was Established in 1982, as a safe place for women, children, and youth fleeing violence and abuse in Grey and Bruce County. TWC consists of three core programs: the VAW Emergency Shelter Program, the Second Stage Housing Program, and the Anti-Human Trafficking Program for Youth House. TWC’s goal is to ensure the women, children and youth heal in a safe place on a path to recovery. The programs include housing, counselling, food, personal care items, and outreach with an educational and workforce component.
The Women’s Centre Grey Bruce is hosting an Afternoon Tea Party on Thursday August 1st from 2pm-4pm at Meaford Hall Arts & Cultural Centre. Tickets are $55/per person which includes tea with scones, sandwiches, mini desserts, with a silent auction and a 50/50 draw. It is a fun afternoon to raise awareness & funding to support women, children and youth in need.
