The Amazing Sunset Sessions Showcases Talented Youth Artists

    Sharing is SO MUCH APPRECIATED!

Collingwood, ON [16 April 2025] – Collingwood’s Sunset Sessions, an unforgettable concert experience featuring talented youth performers returns this summer as part of the Collingwood Live & Original Music Initiative. This free event celebrates the extraordinary talents of musicians under the age of 18, who will perform on the stage at Sunset Point’s outdoor venue, located at 35 St. Lawrence Street. Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 31, as the music kicks off at 4:30 p.m.

Young aspiring artists can audition by submitting a two-song video to Festivals Coordinator Rosemarie O’Brien at [email protected] by May 9, 2024. Selected participants will perform four pieces at Collingwood’s Sunset Session concert, blending original music and cover songs, with a strong focus on showcasing their original creations. As a bonus, performers will receive an honorarium for their participation.

While staging and technical support will be provided, participants are responsible for bringing their own instruments, equipment, and accessories.
Sunset Sessions also invites attendees to support the local community by contributing to the Collingwood Youth Centre’s pantry donation drive, which will be collecting items at the event.

Sunset Sessions isn’t just a concert — it’s a celebration of emerging talent, creative expression, and community spirit. A huge thanks to our sponsors for helping to make this event possible and embodying those same qualities. Sunset Sessions owes its success to the generous contributions of talent sponsor Envision Tatham and venue sponsor Tatham Engineering.
