Federico Staksrud, born February 15, 1996, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a top-ranked professional pickleball player. A former tennis standout, he was ranked #7 in Argentina’s U18 tennis category and played collegiately at the University of New Orleans and Tennessee Wesleyan.
Staksrud transitioned to pickleball in 2021, quickly rising to prominence with his strategic play and powerful right-handed style. He has won multiple PPA Tour titles, including the 2022 Atlanta Open and 2024 Veolia Houston Open, and secured the #1 men’s singles ranking.
A Florida resident, he holds a master’s degree in Information Systems from Florida Gulf Coast University and enjoys F1 racing, tennis, and the NBA.
