(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with impaired driving related charges because of a traffic tip.
On April 9, 2025, at approximately 9:53 p.m., Huronia West OPP officers responded to a traffic tip of a possible impaired driver heading southbound on Fairgrounds Road in Clearview Township.
Officers were able to locate the vehicle at the owner’s address. After speaking with the owner/driver, officers noticed an odour of alcohol on the individual’s breath and conducted an impaired driving investigation. As a result of the investigation, Michele COADY, 50-year-old of Clearview Township, was arrested and has been charged with the following:
· Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
· Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)
The accused is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
