Quincy Bullen’s love for music ignited with his teen jazz band Quintessential Boys, and he continues to craft vibrant bands that breathe new life into jazz standards with his funky electronic flair.
An engaging and humorous performer, Quincy’s antics—like dancing with his piano bench and inviting fans on stage—captivate audiences, making him a favorite at prestigious festivals such as TD, Montreal Jazz, and Caribana. Drawing from his Caribbean roots, classical training, and a rich background in jazz, hip hop, and electronic music, Quincy creates a unique sound and often surprises fans by freestyling on stage. Offstage, he stays active with basketball, rollerblading, skiing, and more, all while honoring jazz traditions and envisioning its future, sharing his diverse artistry and infectious passion with audiences around the globe.
