🐸 David Attenborough Shines a Light on Glowing Animals | Nature Documentary

This nature documentary, guided by Sir David Attenborough, reveals a hidden world that has existed all around us completely invisible, until now.

The ocean glows. The soil beneath your feet glows. And for the first time in history, we finally have the technology to see it all. Bioluminescence, living light produced by animals, fungi, and microorganisms has captivated humans for centuries. Fireflies dancing in summer darkness, waves sparkling with millions of luminous plankton and the ghostly shimmer of deep-sea creatures in a world where sunlight never reaches.

And here’s the truly staggering truth: bioluminescence may not be the rare exception we always assumed. It may be the norm. From the deepest ocean trenches to your own garden, living light is everywhere and it may hold critical clues to understanding the biological balance of our planet and the mechanisms of global warming.
