✅ TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO DRUG AND CRIMINAL CHARGES IN COLLINGWOOD
(COLLINGWOOD, ON) – Members of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid several criminal and drug-related charges following a traffic stop in Collingwood.
On July 7, 2026, at approximately 3:00 a.m., officers conducting general patrol in the area of Beachwood Road conducted a traffic stop. As a result of the investigation, two individuals were arrested and charged.
Michael CHURCHILL, 45 years old, of Wasaga Beach, Ontario, has been charged with:
- Obstruct Peace Officer
- Operation While Prohibited (two counts)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Other Drugs)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Cocaine)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Methamphetamine)
- Use, Deals, Acts on Forged Document (two counts)
Alycia MILLS, 47 years old, of Wasaga Beach, Ontario, has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Cocaine)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Methamphetamine)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Other Drugs)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
Both accused parties were held for bail and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice to these charges.
