🧠 Dumbing Down: The Death of Competence In Modern Society

Philosophy, psychology, sociology and dark humor intersect in this introspective essay on cultural commentary and the death of competence.

Real talk about why stupid keeps winning… the measurable, documented decline in cognitive capability happening across multiple countries and generations.

How we systematically removed the friction that builds actual capability, why incompetence rises while competence gets overlooked, and what, if anything, we can do about it. No toxic positivity. Just an honest look at a civilization covered in sticky notes wondering why nothing works anymore.
