
🫒 MANY olive oils are mixed with LOWER VALUE oil, CFIA finds

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) found that roughly one in three olive oil bottles tested failed authenticity or labelling checks, meaning the oil was either mixed with lower-value oils or carried misrepresented claims such as “extra virgin,” “cold pressed” and “unrefined.”
