On behalf of the Town of The Blue Mountains, WT Infrastructure Inc. has completed the design and engineering for construction of upgrades at the Craigleith Main Sewage Lift Station.
The project has been tendered and the construction contract has been awarded to Peak Construction Group. Mobilization is expected to begin in May 2026. Construction activity will be occurring on town-owned land at 236 Lakeshore Road East in Craigleith.
Project Scope
- Excavation, site grading and restoration
- Temporary bypass pumping
- Modifications of existing yard piping
- Replacement and/or refurbishment of raw sewage pumps, process piping, influent screening/grinding
- Electrical upgrades, emergency power and energy conservation
- Odour control and building modifications
What To Expect
You may experience dust, noise, vibrations, odours and other inconveniences as a result of construction. The Town will work with the contractor to reduce these impacts where possible by maintaining standard working hours and providing written notice of planned service interruptions or restrictions. We appreciate your patience throughout the project. Works will be occurring within Town property. Should you have any concerns during construction, please contact the Site Inspector.
Work Hours
Work will generally take place Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Service Interruptions
Water and hydro service may be temporarily interrupted at times to facilitate portions of the project. Impacted residents will be notified in writing in advance of any interruptions.
