Midhurst/August 24, 2026 – The County of Simcoe’s Social and Community Services Health Care Clinic has relocated to the lower level of 250 West Street North, Orillia, providing a larger, more accessible space to better support residents experiencing acute healthcare needs and other complex social and health challenges.

The expanded clinic has grown from one clinic room to two, increasing capacity for low-barrier healthcare services delivered in partnership with the Huronia Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic (HNPLC). Co-located with the County’s Social and Community Services office, the space connects residents with healthcare, housing, income support, some HART Hub/Simcoe County supports, homelessness prevention, and other community services in one location. The enhanced facility will support the HNPLC Children’s Clinic three days per week and provide space for an additional HNPLC Nurse Practitioner, helping connect up to 500 more Couchiching-area residents to primary care services.

Residents, community partners and stakeholders are invited to an Open House on November 9, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the new clinic location. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the expanded space, learn about available services, and hear about the clinic’s vision for supporting a healthier community.
