A WHOLE NEW WORLD OF MUSIC IS COMING TO COLLINGWOOD!

Sharing is SO MUCH APPRECIATED!

Hello Theatre Lovers!

I am beyond thrilled to invite you to a truly magical event happening this May—an unforgettable evening that celebrates one of the most beloved composers of our time: Alan Menken.

Theatre Collingwood presents:

A WHOLE NEW WORLD – THE MUSICAL MAGIC OF ALAN MENKEN

Conceived & Directed by Adrian Marchuk

Musical Arrangements by Chris Tsujiuchi

Musical Direction by Jacqueline Sadler

Featuring Thom Allison, Ma-Anne Dionisio, Kelly Holiff & Matthew Joseph

May 15th & 16th at 7:30 PM

New Life Church, Collingwood

If you grew up singing the songs from The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Newsies, or Little Shop of Horrors, then this show is going to sweep you off your feet. If you are not familiar with the music…you will still be swept off your feet by the talent on the stage!

Alan Menken is a living legend, with eight Academy Awards—more than any other living person—plus Grammys, Golden Globes, a Tony, and generations of devoted fans who know every word to every song. His music has become the soundtrack to our lives. To learn more about this fascinating man check out his bio on his website HERE.

I’m especially proud to be working with Adrian Marchuk again, the brilliant creator behind this show. Many of you joined us in February 2024 for his moving and masterful production of Any Dream Will Do – the Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, and I’ve had the great pleasure of working with Adrian for years as he’s developed his series of shows that celebrate the composers who shaped musical theatre history. He blends storytelling, education, and powerful music in a way that always leaves audiences inspired—and a little teary-eyed (in the best way!).

And just wait until you hear the phenomenal cast Adrian has assembled for this show…

This cast is truly world-class, and we are so lucky to have them on stage right here in Collingwood—for TWO NIGHTS ONLY!

Don’t miss this stunning celebration of Alan Menken’s unforgettable work—an evening full of heart, humour, and the music you know and love. Whether you come for the nostalgia, the artistry, or to hear this fun music like never before, this will be a night to remember. This is also a great show for all ages and the whole family!
