    Collingwood Festival for Canada: A Canada Day Celebration

    Collingwood, ON [17 June 2025] – Celebrate Canada’s rich culture and heritage with a line-up of events that offer something for everyone, beginning on June 28th in Downtown Collingwood and running until July 1 with a spectacular fireworks display.



    On June 28, Downtown Collingwood comes alive with the Canada Day Stomp, a music-filled journey through the heart of downtown. Join the procession on foot, wheelchair, or stroller and soak in the lively atmosphere. The music starts at 11:30 a.m. and runs through to 3:30 p.m.

    Visit the Town Square Park on Saturday and have fun at the LEGO® Creative Club Kids Zone. Create and build with over 15,000 LEGO® Bricks and 500+ EverBlocks. As part of your visit also enjoy Balloon Twisting and Glitter Tattoos.

    Explore the Art Market along Creative Simcoe Street hosted by the BMFA celebrating their 50th anniversary. Visit over 70 Local Artists and a Children’s Art Area led by Imaginarium Adventures in Art. The Market runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    Finish the day at the Shipyards Amphitheatre, music enthusiasts can enjoy live performances from Lyric Dubee starting at 6:00 p.m. and headliner Wing Night (The Band) at 7:00 p.m. The Shipyards Amphitheatre Concert Series is generously sponsored by FRAM + Slokker, Collingwood Quay Condos and Living Water Retirement Residence. Check out this amazing summer venue located at 2 North Maple Street.

    Lace-up your roller skates with SUSO Skate Inc. on Sunday, June 29th from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Town Square Park, this is a free program for all ages.
    Canada Day, July 1, begins with a scrumptious Pancake Breakfast at Town Square Park from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. At the Federal Building, participate in the Citizenship Reaffirmation Ceremony starting at noon followed by a special Canada Day cake celebration.

    Theatre Collingwood launches its Porchside Festival with free children’s concerts at the Shipyards Amphitheatre presenting the talented and entertaining Sultans of String performing Fiddlefire at 1:00 p.m. and Earth, Seas & Air at 3:00 p.m.

    Watch the annual Rubber Duck Race hosted by the Optimist Club starting at 2:00 p.m. at the Hume Street bridge, a beloved tradition in Collingwood. Cap off the celebrations with breathtaking fireworks launched from Millennium Point. The best viewing spots include Harbourview Park at the Shipyards Amphitheatre and along the Promenade.
