Hi there, I’m Purl!
I may be almost 9 years old, but don’t let that fool you – I’ve still got lots of love (and tail wags) to give! I’m a gentle soul who’s just looking for the right person to help me come out of my shell and truly shine. Here’s the thing: I can be a little nervous, especially around men or strangers but please don’t take it personally, I just need a little time and patience to feel safe. Once I know I can trust you, I’m all in. Loyal, loving, and ready to be your best friend.
I’m getting more comfortable and I am really start to blossom with kind, gentle handling. I walk beautifully on a leash – no pulling, no reacting to cars, bikes, people, or other dogs. I like to take in the world at my own pace. Speaking of dogs, I’m kind of indifferent to them, so if you have another chill pup, we might get along just fine. I’ve even lived with a cat before! But fair warning – I’ve got a bit of a prey drive when it comes to wildlife, so slow intros, please. I’d do best in a calm home with kids over 10 who understand that I’m a bit shy and know how to respect my space. I’m looking for someone with experience in helping fearful dogs like me build confidence – someone who believes in patience, positive reinforcement, and letting love grow at its own pace. So if you’re the kind of human who understands that the best relationships take a little time, I promise I’ll make it worth the wait. I’m ready for my soft landing and my forever home. Could that be with you?
My adoption fee is $250 and includes my spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, dewormer and a microchip. The GTHS is open for adoptions from 12:00pm-4:00pm, every single day of the week and they would be thrilled to introduce you to me! I can’t wait to meet you and am looking forward to starting my new life with my new family!

Meet Biscuit
Biscuit is a 3 years old male Domestic Medium Hair/Mix cat who weighs 4 kilograms.
Hi there,
I’m Biscuit! I’m a 3-year-old fluffy guy with a sweet heart and a soft coat to match. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people or when I’m getting used to a new place, but once I feel safe, I turn into a total lovebug. I absolutely adore attention from my humans-snuggles, pets, sweet words-I’ll soak it all up. I do have a longer coat, so a little regular brushing helps keep me looking and feeling my best (and hey, it’s a great way for us to bond!). I also have a serious weakness for wet food-just the sound of the can opening gets my purr going! I’m great with other cats and would do just fine in a home with respectful kids. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion with a little fluff and a lot of love, I think we might be a perfect match.
