Old Village (Legion) Park Revitalization Project

The Town of Collingwood has taken the first step in revitalizing Old Village (Legion) Park with the completion of Phase 1: a beginner cycle pump track. This exciting addition provides a safe and fun space for riders of all ages and abilities to build cycling skills, balance, and confidence.

And this is just the beginning! Future phases will bring even more enhancements, including an intermediate pump track for experienced riders, a new washroom facility, and upgraded parking to better serve park visitors. The timing of the intermediate pump track relies on community interest, fundraising efforts, and budget approvals.

Cycle Pump Track Update

The Phase 1 beginner pump track at Old Village (Legion) Park has been open since July 2025, and the response has been incredible! Building on this success, the Collingwood Off-Road Cycling Group is excited to kick off a fundraising campaign for Phase 2. We are looking for community support to help raise $200,000, which will be matched by the Town’s $300,000 investment pending budget approval. Together, this funding will bring the next phase of this exciting project to life!
