Extreme cold, harsh winds, and unpredictable weather patterns combine to create one of the harshest landscapes on Earth — the Northwest Passage.
A place where time seems to have stood still, compasses don’t work, and navigating ice blocks is a matter of life and death, accessing the Northwest Passage fulfills a dream for Mark Synnott of experiencing the world as early explorers might have. Mark knows his only chance of survival relies upon the ancestral wisdom of navigating the shifting ice, so he enlists the help of Inuit guide Jacob Keanik. As the crew sets sail, they find themselves in the situation they feared most — trapped amongst the ice.
