COLLINGWOOD OPP JOIN 24 HOURS AT BLUE
(COLLINGWOOD, ON) – Members of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) took part in an annual fundraiser at Blue Mountain this past weekend.
On Saturday, March 28, 2026, Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP, alongside members of the local Cadet Corps, participated in the annual 24‑hour relay fundraiser. During the event, participants volunteered their personal time to ensure that a member was continuously skiing or snowboarding for the full 24 hours while raising funds in support of Special Olympics and other local charities through the Blue Mountain Foundation.
The fundraiser saw a strong turnout from the community, and members of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP were proud to support such a meaningful local cause. Collingwood and The Blue Mountains Detachment values opportunities to engage with the community and contribute to initiatives that support inclusivity, wellness, and positive community partnerships.
