In collaboration with Georgian Bay Forever, we’re excited to announce our first-ever trout release into the Pretty River!
Students from local in‑school hatchery programs have been raising these trout with care, and now it’s time to return them to their natural habitat. Join us at Nottawa Park as the kids who helped raise the fish take part in releasing them into the river.
This is a free, family‑friendly community event, and everyone is welcome.
We’ll have hot dogs and hamburgers, along with fun, educational, and interactive stations where you can learn about the trout life cycle and the importance of protecting our waterways.
Come be part of a meaningful moment—one that helps future generations learn how they can give back to the environment and enjoy nature the way it’s meant to be.
