Every Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the program will rotate through different local parks, offering a new location each week. In addition, our Museum Mobile Park Play will take place every Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., beginning July 6. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
Keep your eye on Collingwood’s Instagram and website to see where the Mobile Park may pop up.
The Mobile Park Program brings free, open ended play opportunities directly into neighbourhood parks. Children can explore a variety of engaging activities, including the block based Imagination Playground and oversized favourites such as Connect Four, Jenga, Tic Tac Toe, and Yahtzee. The mobile play trailer is equipped with a wide range of materials designed to spark creativity and support play for kids of all ages.
These programs are designed not only to encourage active, outdoor fun but also to strengthen community connections. The outdoor play activities promote collaboration, problem solving, and imagination activity as children build, create, and play together.
