“Right There With You” by Kevin Hamlin has now been released

Kevin Hamlin, retired music teacher from Collingwood Collegiate, released his third song of a four song package, called “Right There With You”. This song was In honour of Mark Spencer, his best friend and colleague for over 25 years, who was lost far too young.
About “Right There With You” in Kevin’s own words:
All of us, sooner or later, walk through grief — the loss of loved ones or friends. “Right There With You” is the song I wish someone could have shared with me, when I was going through my own grief.
The words of the song are being spoken from the other side — reassuring words from the one who passed that they are okay, that they’re still close, and that grief doesn’t have to be the last word.
I built these words very carefully. Every line had to feel like something a person you loved might actually say to you — nothing false, nothing performative, nothing trying to fix what can’t be fixed. Just presence.
If you’ve ever grieved, then think of the people you’ve lost, as you listen to this song.
I hope “Right There With You” also brings comfort to you too, as it does for me.
And if you know someone else who suffered a loss, then please do share this song
with them as well.
