Temporary Partial Closure – Thornbury Pier Parking Lot – Beginning June 8, 2026
The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public that a portion of the gravel parking lot at the Thornbury Pier will be closed beginning the week of June 8, 2026. This area is required for a storage and staging area by a subcontractor working on the installation of the new treated effluent outfall pipe for the Thornbury Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The partial closure will remain in place until the completion of project, estimated for late September or early October 2026. Public access to the Thornbury Pier will not be impacted by this closure. Material loading from the storage area will be completed early in the morning to limit impact on the public.
