Collingwood, ON [10 May 2024] – The Town of Collingwood’s Parks, Recreation & Culture Department is excited to announce another jam-packed summer line-up of live music on the Shipyards Amphitheatre stage. Located at 2 North Maple Street overlooking beautiful Collingwood Harbour, this gem of a venue will host 18 acts, over 8 concert dates, within 5 special events between June 1st and August 11th, all free of charge! Mark your calendars for a summer season of great music & fantastic concerts at the Collingwood Shipyards Amphitheatre.

Trail Tunes, June 1
Get out on the trails this International Trails Day for Trail Tunes, a collaborative, regional event connecting over 100kms of trail and rich musical culture! Bike or hike from destination to destination, through Collingwood, Wasaga Beach and Clearview. Enjoy live music at trailheads in each municipality and end with a headliner concert at Wasaga Beach’s Oakview Woods Park featuring Reggaddiction!

Collingwood Live & Original Concert Series, July 13 – August 9
The Collingwood Live & Original Music Initiative creates opportunities, such as the Collingwood L&O Summer Concert Series, for musicians to connect, collaborate, and cultivate their craft. Spend an evening on the shores of Georgian Bay enjoying live, original performances from a diverse selection of established and emerging artists from across the region, Ontario, and Canada. Presented by the Town of Collingwood.

Sidelaunch Days is Collingwood’s annual harbourfront festival that celebrates the joy of being in, on, and around the water while commemorating the unique shipbuilding heritage of Collingwood. Activities will include tall ship tours, SUP races, dog agility shows, live music, Amphitheatre concerts, and much more. Presented by the Town of Collingwood and Collingwood Downtown.

Things to remember for attending events at the Shipyards Amphitheatre:
Remember to bring your lawn chairs, or blankets. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted to be brought into the venue. Food and a cash bar will be provided on site for purchase at select events.
Free Parking is available at the end of North Birch Street, with a short walk along the trail to the Amphitheatre.
Join us in celebration of summer and great music as we watch the sun set over beautiful Georgian Bay.
