(COLLINGWOOD, ON) – Members of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police arrested and charged two motorist with impaired driving over the weekend.
On Friday April 17th, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers conducted a proactive traffic stop in the area of Highway 26 and Beachwood Road. The traffic stop subsequently led to an impaired driving investigation.
As a result of that investigation, Philip D’ADDERIO, a 46-year-old from Wasaga Beach, was charged with:
· Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
· Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
· Dangerous Operation
· HTA Drive motor vehicle perform stunt
On Saturday April 18th at approximately 5:00 p.m. officers received a call for service regarding a suspicious person in progress in the area of Highway 26 and Grey Road 40. Police attended the area and located involved individuals and began an impaired operation investigation.
As a result, Rajdeep SINGH a 26-year-old from Brampton was arrested and charged:
· Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
· Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
The accused individuals are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood. Their driver’s license’s have been suspended for 90 days, and their vehicles have been impounded for seven days.
