✅ Jon Hillis, candidate for Mayor of Collingwood | Small Fixes. Clear Timelines. Real Accountability.

Small Fixes. Clear Timelines. Real Accountability.
Not every fix in Collingwood needs to be a big project. And it shouldn’t take years.
I want to start a Community Quick Action Fund. You tell us about a small fix your area needs. A new bench. A safer crosswalk. Slower traffic on your street. Staff check the cost and make sure it’s safe. The money is already set aside, so good ideas get done fast.
You should also know what’s going on in your town. I want one simple website where anyone can see every road and town project:
– What’s being done and why
– What it should cost, and what it really cost
– When it starts and when it ends
– How far along it is
– If it’s late, why, and the new date
I’ll also keep you in the loop:
– A short, plain summary of every Council meeting within two business days
– News before decisions are made, not after
– A real answer to every email and call within five business days
Easy to ask. Fast to fix. Clear to see where your tax dollars go.
That’s what good leadership looks like.
