Pitch in for Community Clean-Up Days: Together We Can Keep Collingwood Clean

Take action on litter this spring by participating in Community Clean Up Days.

Community Clean-Up Days run from Earth Day, April 22, through to the Provincial Day of Action on Litter on May 12, 2026. Whether you’re heading out for a walk on local trails, enjoying time in a neighbourhood park, or organizing a group activity, every effort makes a difference.

Getting involved is easy. Residents can pick up garbage bags and gloves during regular business hours beginning Monday, April 20, at:

• Collingwood Public Library, 55 Ste. Marie St.

• Town Hall, 97 Hurontario St.

Once your clean-up is complete, collected bags can be placed in or beside a green Town of Collingwood garbage bin located in parks and along the trails. Town staff will take care of the collection.

Your safety is important. Participants are encouraged to take necessary precautions and review the cleanup safety tips available at www.collingwood.ca/communitycleanup.

Community Clean-Up Days are a great opportunity to work together. Residents are encouraged to organize team clean-ups with colleagues, community groups, or local organizations.

Are you up for the challenge? Town staff can provide garbage bags, gloves, and arrange for pickup. To register a group clean-up or learn more, please use the contact information below.

Together, we all play an important role in protecting our environment and keeping Collingwood clean!
