    Meet Hope

    hope-cat-photo

Hope is a 2 years, 1 month old female Domestic Medium Hair/Mix cat who weighs 3 kilograms.

    Hi Friends,

My name is Hope! I’m a sweet 2-year-old girl looking for a calm and loving home where I can feel safe. I like having my own space, but with time and patience, I’ll warm up to gentle pets. If you have Churu tubes, we’ll probably become friends even faster! I’d love a home with plenty of cozy hiding spots and high places to perch. I’m okay with other cats, but dogs are a bit too much for me. Because I can be shy at first, I’d do best in a home with kids over 12. If you think we’d be a good match, I’d love to meet you!

My adoption fee is $185 and includes my spay/neuter, internal and external parasite treatments, up to date vaccinations and an ID microchip! If you want to learn more about me, please come visit the GTHS and speak with one of the amazing Adoption Counsellors! The GTHS is open for adoptions from 12pm-4:00pm, every single day of the week and they would be thrilled to introduce you to me! I can’t wait to meet you and am looking forward to starting my new life with my new family!

    Sweet, Shy Purrs,

    Hope

    Meet Humphrey

Humphrey is a 4 months old male Medium Mixed Breed who weighs 12 kilograms.

    Hi Friends,

I’m Humphrey! I’m a 4-month-old handsome and sweet little boy looking for a loving family to help me grow into a confident pup. Right now, I can be pretty fearful in new situations, around unfamiliar people, and in different environments. I probably didn’t get enough exposure to the big world when I was younger, so I need patient humans who understand that I’ll need time, love, and positive experiences to help me feel safe. When I first arrived, I was so scared that even putting a leash on me was tricky. But guess what? I’ve made great progress! I now allow my trusted handlers to leash me up and take me for short walks. I can be reactive on my leash so I will need someone who is an experienced dog owner to help me become my best self. I’m still cautious and like to take things slow, but I’m learning every day! I feel more comfortable when I have a calm, confident dog friend by my side, so I’d love a home with a furry buddy to help show me the ropes.

Because I’m still learning how to be brave, I’d do best in a calm home with people who have experience with fearful dogs and understand canine body language. Older teenagers would be a better fit for me, and I’m not sure how I feel about cats just yet. A fenced yard would be great since I can be a flight risk. My ideal family will use positive reinforcement training and give me a safe space, like a crate, where I can relax. If you have the patience, love, and understanding to help me build confidence at my own pace, I promise to be the sweetest companion.

My adoption fee is $550 and includes my spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, dewormer and a microchip.
