Born in Toronto and raised in Collingwood since the age of six, Erin Rayner has always been drawn to the character and charm of his surroundings. His passion for photography began in high school through a communication studio class, where he discovered the power of capturing moments through a lens.
Deeply inspired by the local landscape and architecture, Erin created Rayner Shine Photography as a home for his visual storytelling, sharing his images through social media and the community. His work focuses on the beauty found in everyday scenes—often overlooked buildings, quiet streets, and the natural textures of Collingwood life.
A multi-talented artist, Erin is also the vocalist for a rock-metal band currently preparing to take the stage. But photography remains his true creative outlet, offering a constant sense of purpose and presence. His current series, Collingwood in Black and White, presents a timeless look at the town he calls home.
