Construction is well underway on the new park! Crews are busy moving earth and setting grades in preparation for the sport courts, washroom, and playground areas.
The Town’s Community Based Strategic Plan and the Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan identify a need to provide facilities for pickleball, tennis and basketball, while a community park designation indicates a need for permanent washrooms, car parking, trail connectivity, and playground structures.
