New Public Artworks Bring Creativity to Collingwood’s Community Spaces
Collingwood, ON [26 August 2026] – The Town of Collingwood is pleased to announce the installation of three new public artworks at the Centennial Aquatics Centre and Central Park Arena.
The new works feature artists Karolina Grujic, Justin Broadbent and Jessica Allen, offering residents and visitors an opportunity to experience contemporary art in the community spaces they use every day.
At the Centennial Aquatics Centre, an artwork by Karolina Grujic brings a creative presence to the pool environment.
At Central Park Arena, visitors can experience an abstract work by Justin Broadbent alongside a landscape work by Jessica Allen.
“Public art has a wonderful way of transforming the places we already spend time in and inviting us to see them a little differently,” says Amanda Henry, Arts and Culture Coordinator. “We’re excited to bring these three artists’ perspectives into our community spaces and give residents and visitors the opportunity to encounter art as part of their everyday experiences.”
The artworks are part of the Town’s ongoing public art initiatives and will remain on display at the facilities until June 2027.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to take a moment to experience the new works during their next visit to the Centennial Aquatics Centre or Central Park Arena.
