September 6, 2024, Mississauga, ON – Today the OJHL announced MilkUP, Dairy Farmers of Ontario’s (DFO) youth lifestyle brand, is the new presenting sponsor of the 2024 Ontario Junior Hockey League Governors’ Showcase. The OJHL is hosting the annual Governors’ Showcase in association with the Niagara Falls Canucks Junior A Hockey Club Sept. 23-25, 2024, in Niagara Falls, Ontario, at the state-of-the-art Gale Centre.

“The OJHL Governors’ Showcase is our flagship event and to have MilkUP, as the presenting sponsor is only fitting,” said OJHL Commissioner Marty Savoy. “We appreciate Dairy Farmers of Ontario’s past support of the OJHL and look forward to many more years to come.”

“We are proud to sponsor the 2024 OJHL Governors’ Showcase that will display some of the most talented young athletes across Ontario,” said Cheryl Smith, chief executive officer at DFO. “MilkUP is DFO’s youth lifestyle brand that was created with youth success in mind. All 24 OJHL teams will convene on Niagara Falls and play two games each over the three days of the Showcase. These regular season games count towards the OJHL season standings.  All games will be webcast by the OJHL’s webcast partner, FloHockey. Additionally, for the first time, all games will use Video Goal Review (VGR), which is being implemented during the OJHL’s regular season.

Day passes for fans will be sold for $20 in the Main Rink Entry area and Ticket Booth of the Gale Centre. Children under the age of 12 will be admitted free of charge.

As presenting sponsor of the OJHL Governors’ Showcase, MilkUP will have branding on all collateral materials in and outside of the venue involved with the OJHL Governors’ Showcase including images, videos and webcasts of the event.
