The Town of The Blue Mountains, Small Business Enterprise Centre and community partners are pleased to announce a 5-part Founders Workshop Series to support small businesses. The workshops are aimed at equipping entrepreneurs with practical tools to help build sustainable businesses.

All workshops will take place from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall.

June 4 – Customer Discovery: Understanding Your Market
This customer discovery workshop will help you clearly explain why your idea matters and why customers should care. You’ll build a strong value proposition that engages potential customers and communicates the value of your product or service. Learn how to craft clear, compelling messaging that resonates with your audience and sets your business apart.

June 11 – Value Proposition: The Basis to Your Communication
In this value proposition workshop, you’ll learn how to clearly explain why your product matters and why customers should care. Discover how to communicate the problems your product solves, the value it brings to customers and what sets your business apart.

June 18 – Business Model Canvas: Modelling Your Ideas
Learn how to use the Business Model Canvas to map, visualize, and communicate the key elements of your business idea. In this workshop, you’ll explore your customers, value proposition, revenue streams and strategic partners while building a clear one-page view of your business.

Registration is now open for the first three workshops. Details regarding the final two workshops will be released later this summer. Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
