    Your Guide to New Year’s Eve Fireworks on Toronto’s Harbourfront

    Looking for New Year’s plans? Come watch a dazzling display of fireworks along Toronto’s waterfront this year. A free experience for all!

    This memorable evening will also feature pop-up performances, activities, and countdowns in select locations on Toronto’s harbourfront.

    The celebration starts at 10 PM. Fireworks start at midnight.

    Getting Around on New Year’s Eve

    The TTC and Go Transit are offering free rides on December 31.

    Performances, Dancing, and Family Fun Activities

    Toronto’s waterfront will feature fun activities and performances leading up to the New Year countdown and after the fireworks!

    1. Sherbourne Common – 61 Dockside Dr
      • Sherbourne Common will give visitors an incredible view of the fireworks and fun entertainment all night long!
      • There will be dance lessons by the Dance Together Festival and a pop-up performance from INCIRQUE.
    2. Toronto Music Garden – 479 Queens Quay W
      • Go to the Toronto Music Garden and view short films from the National Film Board of Canada projected onto the Canada Malting Silos!
      • The site will also feature pop-up performances from INCIRQUE, adding to the festive atmosphere before and after the midnight countdown.
    3. Harbourfront Centre – 235 Queens Quay W
      • Grab your skates and carve up the ice while watching the fireworks this year during Winterfest at Harbourfront Centre!
      • Anchoring the waterfront celebrations, Harbourfront Centre’s main stage will feature live music, including this year’s headliner, Lu Kala, bringing her fiery-voiced sound to the stage, with opening performances by Cootie Catcher and Kalisway.
      • After the fireworks, DJ KIMIWVN will keep the celebration going with a lively dance party until 1 AM.
      • Additional highlights include DJ Skate Night with DJ Smartiez, immersive light installations, curated food offerings in Community Square, a giant Winter Maze, and roaming live performances throughout the campus.

    Waterfront Spots Staying Open Late for NYE

    Several waterfront businesses will be staying open late to help you make the most of New Year’s Eve.

    Some restaurants offer a front-row seat to the fireworks with stunning lakeside views, while others are just steps away — perfect for warming up with a cozy drink or grabbing a festive bite between activities.

    You’ll even find a local gift shop open for the occasion, stocked with memorable keepsakes to mark the start of 2026.

    The Gift Shop is located at the base of the Radisson Blu (249 Queens Quay W) and is open until 1 AM.

    • Find your own way home after the plunge

    5KM:

    • Start at the designated pickup point
    • Bag drop included
    • Join the 10KM crew and finish the run together
    • No pace goals.
    • Just grit, community, and choosing the hard thing.
