📸 Calling all Collingwood filmmakers, photographers, artists & movie lovers!

Are you passionate about film, video, or photography? I’m looking to start a free, non-profit, community-based group right here in Collingwood where aspiring artists, hobbyists, photographers, and storytellers can connect, learn, and create together!

No experience is necessary—whether you want to act, hold a camera, write scripts, edit, or just help out behind the scenes, everyone is welcome.

What We’re Working On (Monthly Themes & Projects):

To give you an idea of how our community calendar looks, here are a few upcoming monthly themes and hands-on projects:

• October Theme: “Shadows of Collingwood”
• Focus: Horror, suspense, and spooky short films for Halloween / the Black Harvest Festival!
• November Theme: “The Rooted Town”
• Focus: Scripting and filming a local history & heritage short film.
• December Theme: “Winter Light & Shadows”
• Focus: Cinematic night photography, winter outdoor shots, and low-light techniques around Collingwood.
• January Theme: “Micro-Dramas & Dialogue”
• Focus: Acting practice, writing short dramatic skits, and framing character moments.

Whether you have a professional camera or just a smartphone and a passion for storytelling, we’d love to have you join us!
