Temporary Road Closure – Pretty River Road – Beginning August 31, 2026

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of an upcoming temporary road closure.

The Municipality of Grey Highlands will be completing hot mix paving on a portion of Pretty River Road and the Osprey – The Blue Mountains Townline over the coming weeks. A portion of this work includes road culvert replacements which will require a temporary road closure to be completed.

It is anticipated that the culvert work will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily from Monday, August 31 to Tuesday, September 2. No through traffic will be permitted between Reid’s Hill and the intersection of Pretty River Road and the Osprey – The Blue Mountains Townline during these hours. Additional lane restrictions are expected to remain in place while the remainder of the hot mix paving is being completed.
