LISTENING FIRST. COMMUNITY ALWAYS.
A CAMPAIGN BUILT ON PERFORMANCE, NOT PROMISES.

Collingwood, ON — After nearly two decades on council and more than 40 years of dedicated volunteer service, Kathy Jeffery has
officially announced her candidacy for Mayor of the Town of Collingwood. Her campaign is rooted in a clear commitment:
Listening First. Community Always.

A trusted and experienced municipal leader, Kathy has spent years building strong relationships across Collingwood and delivering
results on the issues that matter most to residents. Her deep connection to the community began long before elected office and
continues to shape her approach to leadership today.

Her extensive volunteer contributions include the Kinette Club of Collingwood, where she is a Life Member and past National
President, service on both the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation Board and Hospital Board, Chair of the 2008
Ontario Paralympic Winter Championships, and ongoing involvement with the Collingwood Jr. A Blues, including as Chair of Hockey
Battles Cancer.

“My campaign starts with listening,” said Jeffery.

“Listening to residents, understanding their priorities, and working together to deliver real, measurable results. I believe that’s what good leadership looks like.”

During her 19 years on council, Kathy has played a key role in advancing important infrastructure and community initiatives. She
supported critical upgrades to the Town’s water treatment system, championing the addition of ultraviolet disinfection to help strengthen long-term water capacity. She has also been a consistent advocate for local manufacturing and small businesses, as
well as a vibrant downtown.

Her commitment to community extends to youth and families, including initiating the creation of the Central Park outdoor rink,
serving as Past President of Collingwood Minor Hockey, and volunteering as a house league soccer coach.

She is known for her courage at Town Hall and her willingness to challenge bureaucracy to get results. She has led efforts to elevate
local concerns around hate symbols and hate speech, advocating for legislative action at the federal level.

Throughout a period of significant growth in Collingwood, Kathy helped guide responsible development, including supporting
approvals and overcoming barriers to advance the new Collingwood General & Marine Hospital project to its current planning
phase at its preferred location.

“This campaign is about moving Collingwood forward with purpose,” she said.

“We need to focus on the fundamentals: strong infrastructure, strategic growth, and a community where people feel heard and respected.”

Looking ahead, Kathy’s priorities include investing in core infrastructure such as road improvements, water, wastewater, and flood
management, advancing plans for a multi-use recreational facility, and supporting a resilient local economy. Future community investments, including a properly sized performing arts centre, will be considered through a lens of financial responsibility and long-term value.

Her approach is grounded in practical decision-making, transparency, and accountability, and a commitment to performance, not
promises.

“The residents of Collingwood deserve a Town that works for them,
”said Jeffery.

“That’s what my campaign is about.”

Listening First. Community Always.

Residents are invited to join Kathy Jeffery in shaping a stronger, more connected Collingwood.
