On behalf of the Town of The Blue Mountains, Arcadis has completed the design and engineering for construction and installation of a new treated effluent outfall pipe for the Thornbury Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The project has been tendered and the construction contract has been awarded to Clearway Construction Inc. Mobilization to Lora Bay Park is expected to begin in early June 2026, with mobilization to the Grey Street road allowance following in mid June. Lora Bay Park will be used as an assembly site, and then the pipe will be towed across Georgian Bay to the installation site north of the Grey Street road allowance in Thornbury.
What To Expect
You may experience dust, noise, vibrations and other inconveniences as a result of construction. The Town will work with the contractor to reduce these impacts where possible by maintaining standard working hours and providing written notice of planned service interruptions or restrictions. We appreciate your patience throughout the project.
