The Town of The Blue Mountains will be flying the Town Hall flags at half-mast to mark the passing of former Town Clerk Stephen Keast.
Stephen started with the Township of Collingwood in October of 1988 and served as Town Clerk for over twenty years, leading the municipality through amalgamation and multiple elections until his retirement in March of 2010. Following his retirement, Stephen returned to the Town as an Administrative Assistant until his official retirement in June of 2014.
On behalf of Council and staff, the Town would like to share its sincere condolences with the Keast family. The flags at Town Hall will remain lowered until Friday, April 25, 2026, out of respect for Stephen and his family.
