The Town of The Blue Mountains is pleased to announce continued success in its physician recruitment efforts by welcoming Dr. Julie Plume as a new family physician practicing at the Clarksburg Medical Group.
Dr. Plume brings extensive experience and strong community knowledge, having practiced in the local region for more than 12 years, including work at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital and coverage for family practices and emergency departments in the area.
“We are extremely excited to formally welcome Dr. Plume to our community, and to support her efforts to improve community well-being and increase access to primary care for residents of The Blue Mountains,” said Mayor Andrea Matrosovs.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to join the outstanding team at the Clarksburg Medical Group, where I look forward to building a comprehensive family practice and getting to know members of this community,” explained Dr. Plume. “Access to family medicine remains a significant challenge, and I appreciate the Town of The Blue Mountains for recognizing this priority and investing in the renovation of our clinic to add more examination rooms. These enhancements will expand our capacity and our ability to provide timely, high-quality care to local residents”.
